WHO WE ARE

BBQ Adelaide began in late 2020. The founder Troy Barnes has had a long love of quality bbq since a young age. Barnesy won his first Weber Q in a raffle in 2012 and developed a passion for quality barbecue ever since.

BBQ Adelaide is about creating quality products and educating everyone about how to make a perfect steak, every time. With our in-store demonstrations daily and fun cooking classes, we aim to share our passion and cooking skills with the broader community.

George Stephen invented the Weber Kettle using a half sphere of sheet metal from the factory where he worked at Weber Brothers Metal Works.
George Stephen produced more kettles for sale and started demnstrating in shopping centres and supermarkets around Chicago.

The Westerner Kettle released in 1958 and now considered the most collectible Weber Kettle in the world.

Ross McDonald R McDonald Co becomes the Australian representative for Weber barbecues.
Weber invents the first ever upright bullet smoker and like the famous Weber kettle and Q barbecue, it has been often imitated but never replicated.

Weber Genesis E330 was released into Australia. The Genesis E330 is Australia’s most awarded premium gas barbecue.
